Mary Counihan F.A.O.I. has recently taken up her new post at Nolke Opticians Tramore. Mary who is originally from Waterford studied optometry at Dublin Institute of Technology. Upon qualifying she worked in Dublin for a period before relocating to Wexford. She has a keen interest in contact lens fitting of both hard and soft lenses, single vision, multifocals and monovision. Mary is excited about the many new changes and advances in eye care technologies and techniques as it allows eye care professionals to provide the best possible service to their customers at their local opticians. She enjoys the variety of working in a local optician practice, allowing her the opportunity to not only examine but also to help customers in the choosing of spectacle lenses and frames. |
